Rijksmuseum

Concept and design of a souvenir for the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. This project won the design contest organised by the Dutch Embassy in Spain in 2014. The product was sold in the museum’s shop.

It consists of a packaging for tulip seeds. These seeds are the same type as the flowers displayed on the paintings found in the Rijksmuseum. This way, the visitor’s experience continues at home as they can plant these seeds and grow the tulips that they saw in the paintings, making an enduring bond with them.

The project allowed me to visit the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven and be part of the Design Academy in Autumn 2014.
